I must admit I have no idea to the quality of Justine however, as I had not heard of it before this announcement.įrom what I have read, Amnesia: Justine is a free content update to The Dark Descent.
There isn’t a poor game in this series, either: Fractional Games’ The Dark Descent and The Chinese Room’s A Machine For Pigs are both brilliant examples of weaponless first person horror experiences. It is possible that without Amnesia’s success we would not have seen the likes of Outlast and P.T. The series has been a massive success on PC, Mac and Linux for a while now and this first person survival horror title helped usher in a new era of horror games, which at one stage seemed to be on the way out. This marks the first time the series has come to consoles and PS4 owners should look forward to enjoying this modern classic horror series from the comfort of their sofa’s, especially if they needed several changes of new underwear anyway. This release will contain all three games in the Amnesia series, those being Amnesia: The Dark Decent, Amnesia: A Machine For Pigs and Amnesia: Justine and will release under the name Amnesia: Collection.
